I’ve always been driven by the challenge of building — whether that’s an idea, a company, or a strategy. My career has taken me from co-founding a strategic consulting firm across Asia and Central Europe, to Investment Banking at Citigroup in sponsor coverage and capital raising, to launching Discus Ventures, a platform for the work I care most about: helping founders, CEOs, and teams create companies, solve capital challenges, and drive real growth.
I’m passionate about the hands-on work, rolling up my sleeves with leadership teams on business strategy, operations, and development, and I dig in deeply when it comes to capital strategy and structure. Over thirty years across media, technology, healthcare, and education, I’ve developed a genuine appreciation for what it takes to build something meaningful in any sector. I also stay close to the next generation of entrepreneurs as the first Executive in Residence and an adjunct professor at the Gordon Institute at Tufts University, which keeps me curious and on my toes.
At Stead Impact Ventures, I’m drawn to the mission — supporting innovators who are genuinely trying to transform health and wellbeing — and there’s no place I’d rather put my energy than helping portfolio companies grow and succeed.
